Dr Regi Nair – Practice Owner
Regi is the owner GP at Mahora Medical. He is familiar and well connected in the Hawkes Bay and was invited to lead Mahora Medical, where he has been for nearly 2 years. Outside work, he lives rurally with his partner, along with 2 boys and 1 girl that keeps him on his toes, as well a puppy.
Regi’s approach is seeing the right patient, at the right time with the most appropriate person. This approach allows patients and whanau to be seen by our experienced and connected Integrated team

Catherine – Health Care Assistant
I have had jobs previously where I have worked with animals, my main interest. In particular, penguins, rhinos and stingrays.
After sometime in a receptionist role and an amazing trip to Africa. I decided it was time to retrain and I completed a vet nursing course which I really enjoyed, but I ended up looking after people instead.
